Defining the Unique Self: A Trans-Lineage ExplorationAnother useful way to talk of self is to say that each is distinct yet not separate from every other. So no self is discrete (distinct and separate); every self is distinct but not separate. The Christian Orthodox term for this relation is perichoresis.
