May 8, 2011 Integrating sex and spirit
Sending this out into cyperspace, in hopes that folks who are interested in the same sorts of projects as I am will comment back. Integrating sex and spirit is one thing I am interested in - I'm thinking there is a way to create surveys here, that would be very interesting. How integrated (vs compartmentalized) is your sexuality with your spirituality? Not as much as I'd like, is my answer. This is definitely an area for integral life practice (ILP).
I loved KW's 6 Vignettes going up the spiral (will look for link and post if I find). One of the vignettes was a 3-2-1 with an image from his magenta self, a stripper. It was delightful and instructive. Delight, btw, is the characteristic of healthy eroticism, according to David Schnarch, the marital/sex therapist who IMO foreshadowed much integral thinking on this subject.
Looking forward to hearing thoughts from you, dear reader!

I'm not sure I really understand
Posted May 8th, 2011 by Shikha Sabharwalthe difference
between I guess between
praying and having sex- I guess
maybe 'making love' sounds nicer.
I guess I just don't see
what is different.
Granted, it has been over a year since I've had sex, but from what I recall
it's really pretty much the same, well maybe one difference is inside movement
or movement that moves through and between and from and to and between
two people - or whatever - and that
well,
I guess it is kind of different, in some ways.
Maybe it's just the same in my mind.
I'm not sure.
Anyways, they're both fun. I guess except when they're not.
Well, I guess it's really nice to share
how I
move
and breathe and
am, and I guess it's even better because it's like God moving two - or whatever, I guess- people
like- God breathing two people together and apart and together
it's like feeling God breathe
