Cross-altitudinal communication

In an interview with ODE magazine Ken discusses the need to address different value systems in their own languages.

The necessity of discussing global warming in a language that each culture can understand is emphasized.

How do we apply this concept in our own lives?  When we meet people at different altitudes, to what extent do we make an effort to use language in such a way that would make most sense to them?

What would be an example of how you would approach the need to curb spending in the current financial climate?

Here’s my attempt at communicating with a few of the altitudes:

Red:                      “Spending less is going to make your pocket fuller man”.

Amber:                 “Don’t forget what our parents taught us. Take care of the pennies and the pounds will take care of themselves”.

Orange:                “A simple calculation will show that the best investment at the moment is to settle existing debt”.

Any more suggestions?

Cross altitudinal communication

Ok, how about something for green: "Don't feed the greedy corporate machine"

Wow, your orange statement is dead on. I've spent a good chunk of my life at orange and that is so me...
