What is most inspiring to me about being an integral coach is the way the relationship and the process not only promote, allow and support growth and development, but also the stabilization of that growth/change. I am also inspired by how working in this way enables not only healthier ways of showing up and being in life but also brings about transformation – and increased awareness. I am honored to have the opportunity to work with and support my clients in this way and it is a privilege to be a part of this lineage and community.
Some significant life, experiences, education or practices that have contributed to my ability as an Integral Coach include being trained and supporting myself as a professional artist for a number of years early in life, creating tapestry, jewelry, pottery and painting. I have a license in psychotherapy, a Masters of Education, as well as volunteer experience in art therapy. My coaching practice is also influenced by 10+ years of experience working in a Fortune 100 Company as a coach, manager and mentor (with a focus on developing new leaders) and by training with I-I in Integral Leadership, Psychotherapy, ILP, Zen, and Bodywork. I engage in daily Zen practices and have a strong creative practice including art, gardening, design, and co-created dance and performance.
Integral Life Practices I am currently involved in are daily meditation and mindfulness practices, shadow work, journaling. Also - therapy and coaching, belly dancing, swimming and hiking, painting, textile arts, volunteer work and continued Integral study and practice.
I live an Integral Life because it offers a level of depth, of wholeness and health that nothing else I’ve found thus far offers. It pulls the puzzle pieces of life together in a way that makes sense and allows for an ever-evolving image to appear. I believe that living an Integral Life is the most beautiful and authentic expression of life and of ourselves, which promotes continual and consistent growth and evolution – to the individual, community and Kosmos.
People would be surprised to learn that I am currently contemplating creating an integrally informed animal rescue here in the Midwest.
