What is most inspiring to me about being an Integral Coach is that I find working with others on what is most important to them to be inspiring.  I love helping others make changes in their lives, and gain greater awareness and increased capacities that they will carry with them after our coaching relationship has ended.  I love the looks in my clients’ eyes when they realize what possibilities have suddenly opened up for them as they embody a new way of showing up in the world.  And I am completely inspired by the depth, span and rigor of this coaching methodology and how that translates into sustained change for the client.

It seems like every step I’ve taken, every path I’ve chosen, every job I’ve held and every experience of my life (regardless of how painful or joyful I remember it) has culminated to this point.  I finally feel like it all makes sense, and is all valuable and significant from the perspective of being an Integral Coach.  Integral Coaching allows me to bring to the table all of who I am, on behalf of my client.

My training with Integral Coaching Canada was a particularly profound experience because it called forth a deeper expression of who I am in the world.  My Masters degree in Integral Psychology with an emphasis in Consciousness Studies, coupled with my undergraduate work in Communications and Women’s Studies with an emphasis in sexuality, gender, and identity, provide a strong educational foundation for work in adult development.

But really, the biggest contributor to my ability as an Integral Coach is simply my passion for helping others find meaning, fulfillment and delight in their lives.

Integral Life Practices I am currently involved in are Ecstatic Dance (free-form, intentional movement), contact improvisation (a dance technique in which points of physical contact provide the starting point for exploration through movement improvisation), quantum light breathwork, shadow work, tantra & other sacred sexuality work, yoga and meditation.   I am currently exploring my body as the temple of my Spirit and how I can further know the Divine from this place.  I also practice open-hearted, vulnerable connection with others and enjoy gardening, hiking, learning and play.

I live an Integral Life because I am an Integral being and authentically expressing all of who I am is how I want to live.  To me, living an Integral Life is about honoring all of the threads that form the matrix of my life, as well as how those threads are interwoven into the matrix of other lives and into the state of our world.    I feel empowered, intimately connected, and grounded in presence as I move from an Integral Life.

People would be surprised to learn that in my spare time I'm also a dog trainer.  I find that my coaching skills are particularly useful when teaching dog owners how to handle their dogs and in uncovering the assumptions and beliefs that get in their way of becoming strong leaders.
