A philanthropic and serial-social entrepreneur, Dr. Bozesan, is a leadership strategist, an acclaimed author, a Venture Philanthropist, an Integral Business authority, as well as the foremost expert on Consciousness Leadership and business peak performance. The trained computer scientist and psychologist, is an inspiring public speaker, futurist, and lecturer at renowned organizations such as Stanford University. Her latest scientific research was published in her forthcoming book The Making of a Consciousness Leader-An Integral Approach. Through her Consciousness Leadership Model based on Ken Wilber’s Integral Framework, Dr. Bozesan shares the key success factors of top business executives from Fortune 500 companies. These have made the transition to higher levels of consciousness and are now instrumental in successfully addressing humanity’s current challenges. Through her model, Bozesan advocates ecologically sustainable human development, socially responsible business practices, integral sustainability, and conscious capitalism in order to bridge personal and professional fulfillment with global sustainability.
Since 1995, Dr. Bozesan has been a high-tech and clean-tech investor and was one of the initial investors in Cybernet AG, the first publicly traded Internet company in Germany. To her clean-tech portfolio belongs also BioCee, a US-based bio-tech company that is the receiver of both the Small Business Innovative Research award, given by the National Science Foundation, and the 2009 ARPA-E grant, awarded by the US Department of Energy.
Moreover, Bozesan was also an early member of the Munich Business Angel Network (MBA AG), and has invested in Business Angels and VC funds in Silicon Valley and Europe, including The Angels Forum in Palo Alto and EarlyBird Venture Capital in Munich, Germany.
As a serial-social entrepreneur, Dr. Bozesan is the Co-founder and President of SageEra Institute and Consciousness Leadership Institute. Both are social businesses that currently support together more than 38 humanitarian organizations worldwide. Furthermore, Dr. Bozesan is founder of Infobahn Romania SRL and co-founder of Infobahn International GmbH, a technology transfer and Internet consulting company. Prior to Infobahn, Dr. Bozesan held executive positions at Oracle Corporation, Digital Equipment Corporation, now Hewlett-Packard, and IntelliCorp.
As a humanitarian, Dr. Bozesan was a board member of The International Museum of Women in San Francisco, is a current member of the Founders Council of The Chopra Foundation, advisory board member of The Spiritual Alliance to Stop Intimate Violence (SAIV), advisory board member of the International Foundation for Science and Technology (iFEST), and the President and Founder of The Bozesan Foundation.
In addition, Dr. Bozesan is the successful author of the first integral wellness books and program entitled Diet for a New Life. Also, she is a popular keynote speaker, writer, TV and radio guest, and a featured expert on business consciousness for renowned magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Capital, Marie Claire, and GDI Impuls. Educated at Stanford University and KIT (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany, Dr. Bozesan holds a M.S. degree (Dipl.-Inform.) in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science from KIT. In 1984, Dr. Bozesan was one of four and the only female student sent by the German Academic Exchange Organization (DAAD) to Stanford University. Through the Bechtel International Center, Bozesan was an exchange student with the Computer Science department at Stanford. Mariana received her Ph.D. in Psychology from the Institute for Transpersonal Psychology in Palo Alto, California.
Dr. Bozesan is at home in the world, was born and raised in Romania, and is fluent in five European languages. Mariana is an experienced meditator, a marathon runner, a deep-sea diver, and a globetrotter. She loves people, the arts, classical music, and enjoys singing and painting. She lives with her husband, son, parents, and pets in Bavaria, Germany.
