About Me
I think I'm going to finish an animated script while being a member of this site.
Education
Grad school. Leadership Institute of Seattle, at the time affiliated with Bastyr University. A good program, a theoretical cross of counseling/family therapy theory and organizational development theory. Program turned out either counselors or consultants. Very cool, multi perspective LL training.
Also there was lots of work on the self, again a very interesting theoretical framework which required lots of private family of origin work and then experiencing one's own relational patterns in a group setting. The group setting itself also had excellent theoretical support practiced by good facilitators in real time, with lots of corrections and refinements from the excesses of the "encounter group" that had morphed out of Esalen.
And really great leadership training. Money quote: "Take a stand and stay connected".
Career
Manager at a dot com.
Hobbies and Interests
I really enjoy multi disciplinary practice. Golf, yoga, and writing seem to be my most active practices.
But frankly, I most love to think, for thinking's sake. "But what if..." "How is it similar to, how is it different than..." And, although I was stunningly late in realizing this, "Does it work? If not, is there a different context where it would?"
