So happy to read you
I missed your explorations of difficult questions and I'm glad to get in touch with your observations on life again.
Very interested to read much more about this subject. In the last year, I had few conversations and readings about the differences between Canada (specifically Quebec province) and United States capitalism’s application. Did you already have a look on that (essay about it), socialist societies in the capitalist economy’s world?
After a bit of research, I found that about the half of workers in Quebec province was employed for the common good (different levels of government, ONG of different kinds, cooperatives). I was astonished because it seems very important for the construct of a society. I mean it surely has an effect on all the cultural aspects of a society. How we define ourselves and the kind of decisions taken. I would be curious to know about european countries known as more socialists.
Mike Brelan spoke of Integral Capitalism. Is it possible? Can we suggest that Integral would mean at least a balance between socialism (public property) and capitalism (private property)?
