Love as Evolutionary Impulse!

In Reference to:
The Future of Love

Looking through the lens of existence at that impulse to evolve; that mysterious essence or presence, always, already there is indeed, it seems, a powerful attraction to become itself in its fullest flowering. Some say its breath itself. But carried within our very breath is that sameness in all life; a desire to connect, to bond. Like Ken and Marc, I believe, it is what the future of love has to teach us.

The single cell organism pulsated to become the multicelled organism...no longer wishing to remain single. What better way to grow and become more realized than through the being of another. Yes in its beginnings, love, like a wild flower or lowly insect will be called to mate. Those beginnings to connect through pro-creation. And, what a glorious way to keep us pulsating but through the body form with all its incredible senses.

The finite body first discovers itself then is followed by the finite mind with its array of emotions, ever seeking ways of communication. Yet, always existing within the finite form of body/mind  are those tender and exquisite moments of knowings; that a greater life lives within us. This is that first level of existence sentient beings have been growing to and from. But then something happens. Through our accelerated time ( and this does appear to be happening) certain beings begin to feel this powerful urge, this prompt to seek more. A pushing of the tight chrysalis where something wants to be birthed. A new level or tier of consciousness is beckoning us forward.

Like a cryptogram, somewhere in our very DNA, this lover as source seeks to know its mate, its very self through another realized finite form. So, to me, this is not about the finite form seeking love, as in the personality ego seeking, but its more Source/Presence itself seeking it's fullness of expression through another realized form. And, to me, this is the rapture, the ecstasy of Source becoming one with Source through another, giving rise to a new shift/level in consciousness. It is service to Source itself within another, whereby that service of realized oneness, then ever more fuller, seeks to extend out into the world to create a new earth. This level of love seeks first to mate with itself then birth in the world a new existence. One only God itself can realize. And, we as finite forms, simply provide the vessel means for God/Self to do this....

This is where the very Presence or Source is so realized and so full within that its seeks out itself in that same realized essence in another. For me, personally, this Presence has been my lover for over twelve years. It is the most beautiful and satisifing experience known to me. As a finite form this feels complete. But Source is now so full it wants to express to itself...I have also come to surrender to this, and know it will find its source, it's mate, and all I need to do is remain ever attentive and present to this happening. It is worth the years of surrender of all that is limiting and blocking to this great event. This is, to me, what the future of love is becoming.

All my love,

Mary Linda

Filling up with the love we were born with deep within our hearts,

Hi Mary, enjoyed your blog. It seems that many women are truly understanding that instead of looking towards others as our source of love, we are our source of love, or the source of love has always been within us from the day we were born into this world. Our I Am has always been with us and is filled with Divine Love.

My heart when really opened up to this source of love is very expanded and full and that's when life is great, and things go well. When contracted in reaction to "a perceived something" I feel separation, but can get out of it

quite quickly nowadays, except for grief which seems to have to be felt and accepted in me to move on. I too am feeling this expanded presence of love within, and it may express itself in a relationship male/female to be completed, but for the first time it might not. What would life be like if

I just went on having this oneness with God in all ways without it going into a union of another? When I fill my place where I live with me true essence and presence I don't feel lonely. When I don't, I look around and start to feel like I want another to live with me and be part of my life.

In the past I've had a spiritual marriage that lasted 25yrs, and it was blessed in Holiness from the beginning and ended in the same way as Marc said.. this love has been truly honored and still is because true source love never dies, and maybe that is what hold me back from entering another relationship, that it might not be at the same level of love.

Thanks, just sharing some thoughts on the subject...Aisjah
