The Re-stamping of the Past......

appears to be a harsh reality of where the center of gravity consciousness lives at this time. People get excited about change and transformation, read lots of books but, sadly, they still operate out of the same flatland perspective and still have  difficulty embracing other's perspective. We often forget that higher consciousness is fuller with an ability to grasp and honor the many. We also can't or won't surrender and let go the old data, in order to become freer to embrace and embody the whole, the many. Our part, meaning our own perspective, is just one cell in the whole organism of cells, as Dee so beautifully stated. But it takes a village of higher consciouness, the We, the many perspectives in order to enact the change necessary for a collective state of being to emerge a different world; one where our focus is more balanced with the "I's". Those interiors of I and We that bring forth even more "I's" of intention, innovation, and ideas.

Alas, the driving force, as we all know, is higher Presence. Higher Presence emerges within higher stages/structures when we do the necessary interior work individually. Thats where it must start. Then this interior space becomes more aware and expansive, more liberated and embracing; it begins to pay attention in order to clear out the old data, as higher Presence emerges new data through these higher intentions, innovations, and co-creative ideas. Then the individual seeks out others of like-mindedness, and thus the conveyor belt of stuck consciousness begins to evolve, to move vertically towards higher levels of its being.

Listening to these two leaders, Ken and Richard, gives me hope that enough like-minded leaders just may emerge, in enough global institutions, to start breaking ground of utilizing the powerful tools and knowledge we have today in this moment of real time. That we can let go of just rubberstamping the past and bring forth our powerhouse of intentions, innovations and co-creative ideas......because we all know the power of Presence within our own interiors can, not only free us, but also free the world as we know it today. Now that is something I get so excited about and hope you do too.

With all my love,

Mary Linda

Memory lingers...

Thank you once more Mary Linda for your loving Wisdom.

Everything we think, feel and do seems to be so determined by the past as to almost completely obscure presence. To remain in the present with some lucidity is a constant practice for me which has taken years of dedicated meditation practice, the kindness of many teachers and a passionate love for the Truth in whichever way it presents itself. Now, these words like any other words feel comfortably wise because of their familiarity so I remind myself once more that the word "India" is not India. We so easily rely on our ego-tools to make sense of our lives. Here, in this Integral space one finds extrordinarily clever, brilliant minds able to express deeper realities. And to be ruthlessly truthful there are also a fair amount of rapier-sharp intellects constantly engaging in one-upmanship. These posts are interesting to read but they leave me absolutely cold. I am thinking of a recent set of posts......and here is the thing, why don't I feel more enthusiastic about the Integral? If we are going to be able to co-create a future, a more enlightened one, we must begin to trust ourselves as undefined by our past, our ideas, our own personal history and our memory. When we rely so heavily on memory and act out of that ingrained unquestioned sense of who we are, we define ourselves by what we have been, the old repetitive comfortable self, and there goes presence. Useless arguments arise, feathers get ruffled, egos bruised and we often leave the fight ever so politely, yet totally convinced that we are right! I found myself in this hole many times in the past, hopefully not so any more. I am now more interested in finding and remaining in a more pure state devoid of thinking. Not an easy thing to do at this time, it requires constant practice. Yet this is what we truly are, why muddle it up with polemics which lead us away from our Being?

I am reminded of the old adage "When two philosophers agree, one is not a philosopher" so maybe we should not be surprised by all this controversy!

In gratitude and love.

Marita.
