Wondering?
I struggled with this interview; did anyone else? Listening closely it felt like an Integral bashing of modern and green. Poor green takes a beating from Integralists, and I guess, maybe, they just want green to hurry and join them at this next level. I tend to see green as one of the most important stages of development; simply because they do see the overwhelming complexity of all the perspectives, which Annie seemed to have issues with....or maybe she deals a lot with green and these behaviors of green are wearing thin with her, especially the word complexity:).... Yet, green for the first time, holds the spiral in a way never before seen, and is trying to give importance to all these perspectives. Without this the emergence of Integral would not be possible. Of course, once moving up into the next level you come to understand it is not equal but still this multi-perspective understanding is amazing and opens the portal into the 2nd tier of development.....maybe it me, due to my love of Ken, but it felt he was trying to not take such a harsh view as Annie.....What Project Inc is about is hugely important....and this moment of critical opinion from me does not dimish the important work they are doing, I just would like to see the stage development of green have more positive talk then sometimes it gets here.

Agreed
Posted March 31st, 2011 by StanleyI feel that healthy green is a precious and beautiful level. I am offended when these fine people are defamed and abused by our pseudo integrally informed associates.
I was put off by what I felt to be an arrogant, know it all, I’m smarter than you, I’m better than you tone directed not just to green but to people at all the more basic levels by Annie. I am afraid that this tone might be all too common to people at the early, immature stages of being integrally informed. Let’s hope we can outgrow this soon.
At the same time I thank Annie for the good she is doing for the World.

Project Planet Inc.
Posted April 2nd, 2011 by Glistening DeepwaterAn integrally informed platform in development which has as its prime directive, ensuring the future of humanity on this planet - by whatever means are necessary - which is not something that is being addressed effectively elsewhere (I know, I have looked for it for years).
This is a Project that I have to be a part of, because it is promising to work toward genuine solutions to the problems which have been relegated to the "too hard basket" by ALL of the organisations that have evolved and emerged from the field of human interactions so far.
The level of frustration and overwhelm which may tinge the conversation around this project can be understood only when one has immersed ones self in the cognitive outpost for long enough to really wear it, to experience the feeling of responsibility that it demands.
I challenge the readers of this post to actually wrap their heads around the Planet Inc. CEO cognitive outpost and use it as a lens through which to view the current state of affairs on this planet - then get back to me with how you are feeling and which shadow aspects of your psyche have been triggered and how you are coping with that, so we can do the work of getting over ourselves enough to actually address the issues that threaten our viability as a species.
This is my view of what 'use' the integral level of consciousness is to humanity.

The contexts get bigger
Posted April 2nd, 2011 by stefanoYeah, there is a tone of bashing. The little quips about, if only one could just be "amused" by the lower altitudes. I guess if we're looking at the spiral as a while, we're looking at contexts in which each level appears and is positive. If I want to build a safe neighbourhood community, blue is fine. If we want to build an airplane, orange is fine. If we want to create a nurturing academic or business environment for women, green is fine. After that, we're facing the global crises head on. In that enormous context -- the entire world cultures and environments -- green is no longer enough. But, and this is what I friggen' detest about green, they believe they have all the tools to heal the planet. That's like a blue pastor in small town America believing he has the answer to the problems of international relations between the Christian and Arab worlds. He doesn't. Green is not truly environmentalist. Just like blue is not truly scientific. Blue created the peaceful lands and grain harvests of enough food where people could afford to devote spare time to study and science. But blue isn't scientific. Green isn't environmentalist.
Most of what people self-identify as "environmentalist" isn't. It is like blue Creationists calling themselves "scientific" when they aren't. (There are also orange Creationists, which is fine.)
To be clear, I don't hate green. I like hanging out in green with friends. What I take issue with is when green turns up to world meetings claiming to have the answers, in a pretty stubborn mindset, when it obviously can't even add up the basic numbers. Like the "environmentalist" (that was her job) who told me that she didn't care whether CO2 was really a pollutant or not, because what CO2 cuts and climate change was really about was getting people to stop being greedy. Those were her words. I'm like, WHAT???

integral abortion...
Posted April 3rd, 2011 by Orrin Pratt
I wanted to start some conversation about this post (project planet) that had to do with thrust of the content instead of a green pity and pleasure party about language and the green memes feelings, because the topics discussed this broadcast are so valid and important and deserving of.
If you want to have some integral discourse about Project planet please do so. I invite you to the link below.
Please check it out here http://integrallife.com/member/orrin-pratt/blog/integral-abortion and please join the conversation:)
