As I am refraining from editting as I write, this might be a different experience for me.

Reframing the weeks discussions:

It might be inherent to my nature to try to reframe the weekly posts and comments I've been reading into a new perspective.  Perhaps this perspective is localized to me, perhaps.  The problem I see arising is the difficulty in clarifying the difference between being at the leading edge and claiming to be at the leading edge.  This is not so much a critique of persons and their mode of discourse but instead an underlying conflict in actually INTEGRATING all of the modes of conduct.  From the business ethics debate in spirituality to the ecological debate/debates and even the loosely related discussions regarding non-physical energies and post-metaphysics; attempting to thread the tapestry of a meta-discussion is the issue at hand.

The possibility of creating a discussion that ties in to all of the various modules is daunting, but if we see it as a noble good to unite the true and the beautiful, we must do this. (Consequently I decided not to change that previous sentence to read "... find the truth in uniting the beautiful and the good," or even "... see the beauty in the true good/good truth." I may be editing my editing process but the ideas are still there!)  The somewhat paradoxical nature of this is in the need for the many dialogues in order to have the grander discussion.  We can't refrain from talking about the "little" things and strictly focus on the meaning within the chaos or there wouldn't be chaos to observe.  The bifurcated individual is what is necessary.

We can all input our two cents into a discussion regarding ethics.  We can agree or disagree with certain more read people on a wide range of issues.  We are all equipped and compelled to discuss our own take on the great experiment/artwork/mystery that is life.  But those discussions are all relative.  Relative to our own personal and communal identities.  One can stay in the mental/emotional space that says "we can never be completely objective, we can only operate at varying degrees of objectivity," but you will only find a series of ever more complex dead-ends.  A foundational realization of the ability to occupy that previous perspective is the only release.

The meta-narrative, as it were, seems propped up by the passions of those involved in the individual discussions, by the various works of literary art that seem to be an almost daily delight and the insightful moment that a grand discussion is indeed inseparable from the sum of its parts.

To step out in the world anew, into a darkness known to few,

A darkness so overwhelmingly black my mind left me and I turned back.
