Has anyone read James Alison

James is a former RC monk, who fell in love with a South American man, who later died of AIDS.   He was a theology professor who was told he could no longer teach the seminarians of his community because he taught openlu about Homosexuality from a positive Christian perspective.  He left the order.  He has written several great books.  The more recent ones about Christian and scriptual based positive gay images.   I heard him speak in New York City.  He is coming to speak in New Jersey soon.
