Wonderful Presentation

Thank you - I really enjoyed this presentation:  Not only was the topic thoroughly covered, but the mode of presentation was quite engaging.  I especially appreciated the comments by other teachers. I have been experimenting with Holosync for over a year.  As a meditation practitioner of 40+ years, I also find that the Holosync technology limits depth, but I have not experimented with using it as a "launchpad" into deeper meditation. I use Kirtan, or chanting, as a "launchpad" into meditation with students, but this method isn't for everybody. It would be wonderful if the Holosync technology was more accessible to people who have economic constraints.

I certainly do agree that this technology is a great tool for people who are having trouble getting into a meditation groove. One thing I have not seen discussed is the equally valuable practice of meditating with others, especially experienced meditators. The entrainment that occurs in this circumstance HAS been researched and documented, and can really be a valuable aid to beginners.  In conjunction with that, is the value of sangha, social network, to support the practice.  Holosync tends to be a little isolationist.
