Nancy Davis

About Me

I am a 58 year old educator who lives a bi-locale life. My work is in Tallahassee, Florida,  my family in Cullowhee, North Carolina. Have have two adult children and 10 or so grandkids. In Florida, I live with my two dogs on a small plot of land in the woods where I read, write, teach online, raise chickens and goats and a garden. In NC I have a larger plot of land where I reflect, garden, raise chickens and goats, and grandkids.

1985 - 1989        Doctor of Philosophy, University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia. Major:  Science Education.

1981 -  1982        Master of Education, Western Carolina University, Cullowhee, North Carolina.  Major:  Physical Science Education.

1970 - 1975        Bachelor of Science, Western Carolina University, Cullowhee, North Carolina.  Major: Secondary Science Education.  Areas:  Chemistry (major), Physics (minor), Geology (minor).

8/78 - 9/85        Eighth Grade Science Teacher - Valley Springs Middle School, Arden, NC.

Hobbies and Interests

Integral theory as applied to education

Being in nature. Birding, walking.
