Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.

Career

"Career" seems a little too narrow. My life's purpose is to help people develop the resiliency, open-heartedness, and cheerfulness that we all need increasingly on a daily basis to help ourselves and each other through this unpredictable and novel period in Life's unfolding.

Ken Wilber has pointed out that for an individual in an information economy, one needn't begin at hunting/foraging, then move up to agriculture, then industry, etc... but I have. In order to pay the bills I have picked berries, logged, worked on reforestation projects, taught kickboxing, waited tables, worked on oil drilling rigs in northern Canada, milked cows on a dairy farm, and done assembly line factory work. I worked at the retail level selling nutritional supplements for about four years. This was my first entrance into the "informational workforce".

Now that I am an Integral Coach(tm), everything from my past seems to be valid and useful. I am practicing in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. My specialties are the somatic and subtle realms. I teach Pilates and Systema, a Russian Martial Art that is at the leading edge in terms of developing and defining extraordinary human capacities.
