Because this is deep, takes awhile to sink in.

Maybe we should hear from some of the attorneys in our midst. The Law is an institution that is shamelessly precedent-oriented (that is, conservative), and yet at the same time more receptive to moral reasoning than many other established agencies.

One thing I like about psychology as an establishment is how there is a vocabulary for the elephant in the living room. In Law this seems to be lacking. The baldest of power struggles can be a taboo.
