Why is Holosync so expensive?

What I want to know is, if Holosync is such an important meditation aid that can help people why are the courses so expensive? I don't know what they cost now but when I bought the first cd 5 years ago it was over $300. 

Myself I prefer the old fashioned way just me and my cushion.

Also somehow I seem to be on Bill Harris's email list and almost everyday I get junk mail selling all kinds of crap. I don't know why he is associated with the Integral community myself.

Regarding being on the email list

If you do not wish to get email from Bill Harris, it's very easy to go to the bottom of any of his emails, click the link to unsubscribe, and take yourself off his list.
