Peter Haas

My name is Peter Haas and the purpose of my blog is to help articulate a vision for contemplative Christianity in the third millennium of Christian faith. My prayer is that through these writings, you may be drawn further into the heart of God through Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit, and in so doing expereince the healing presence of God in your body, mind and spirit. I beleive that the future of the Christian church, especialy the Protestant church community, will be connected with a return to the contemplative dimension of the Gospel, worship and prayer. The personal cultivation of a meditative prayer practice is an ethical imperative for Christians who love God, humaninty and all of God's glorous creation - earth, sea, sky, life and cosmos.
