Jhana States And Multiple Personality Disorder

I practice meditation on a regular basis and have managed to achieve some powerful jhana states. They come quite easily lately, and start with some luminosity glow which spreads from inside and diminishes my sensory perception to a level of deep peace and depersonalization. During such meditations, I experience a state of a detached watcher. As a result, I observe separate personalities (at least two right now) that take control over my ego state. I feel very uncomfortable, and sometimes totally embarrassed, when the interests and motives of my partial personalities become contradictory.

For anyone who has some experience with jhana-oriented meditation, I'd like to ask my questions:

1. Is my awareness of my partial personalities a result of my meditation practice?

2.  Does my personality become split because of my meditation practice?

3. Shall I stop meditating to avoid total disintegration?

4. Do I need to continue my practice in order to integrate myself in one?

Does anyone have any information about correlation between deep meditative states and a multiple personality disorder? Please, help!
