Salvation!

Salvation!  Apparently this is my top priority at the moment.  Even trumps dating which should be a no brainer.

Salvation!  What does this mean?  What does it mean integrally?  Does it mean different things at different stages?

Salvation!

Take rest....

--

Take rest, keep faith and heart.  Do not drift away but stay present and open to the Holy Presence.  Breathe in life and light and take rest in the Embrace.

With love and affection,

Windancer

Sans Information

Salvation implies that one is stuck and unable to solve a problem without outside help. Salvation can be applied to an unsolvable survival/safety problem, but in the religious sense, it can be an unsolvable behavior or character problem. Without more information, it is difficult to know what you're looking for.

What I've seen "in the field" is how it is used in the religious sense to chase away fear or anxiety about something that one does not understand about one's self. Instead of seeking understanding, people often seek "Salvation" instead. This can overwhelm anxiety for a while, but eventually it is not strong enough and either a stronger drug is required or self-understanding.

I've felt deep sadness when people keep enhancing and embellishing their "Salvation" experience instead of seeking understanding. One of the saddest things I've seen is a Christian addicted to drugs/alcohol/whatever and they do a Spiritual Bypass instead of the real solution. I used to Sponsor women in a 12-Step Program for Christians and this was nearly always their chosen form of relief.
