An Abundant New Year
I wish that we may all be able to create a healthy, happy, and abundant New Year. I wish abundance for us in all aspects of our lives; health, emotions, relationships, career, finances, gratitude, forgiveness, fun, growth, development, fulfillment, contribution, and Spiritual. Some readers of my recent posts may have noticed a theme of the possibility of contribution for us and my wish is not that we contribute out of our poverty but out of our abundance
I agree with Ken that Tony Robins is an excellent coach in thriving in life; in growing up well. It has become a ritual of mine to review his tapes and CD’s during the New Year season. I would like to share some of his teachings in hopes that he could help us achieve a wealth of personal abundance and the desire to contribute and serve from there. Perhaps others could also share some ways they have achieved abundance in their lives?
Tony’s Formula for Success
· Get clear about exactly what you want in all aspects of your life, physical, emotional, financial, social, spiritual, contribution, and fulfillment.
· Decide to take action. Take action in the presence of your fears. Allow your fears, frustrations, rejections, and pain to be your counselor and driving force, not your jailor.
· Be aware how your actions are working. Make adjustments as needed.
· To speed up your progress learn from a model who has successfully achieved what you want. I have found Tony’s books, tapes, and C.D.’s to be very helpful.
As homework Tony asks us to write down two things we have been putting off that would make a significant positive impact on our lives. Then to take at least a beginning step for each of these.
I may have to periodically wipe this post clean of trolling including off topic comments. Trollers might have better luck on other posts.

chakra breath
Posted January 2nd, 2012 by Layman Pascal in response to YesDifferent types of breathing exercises have different benefits. I might not be inclined to "hold" when doing chakra opening work -- but Tony's exercise sounds find to me and it could easily be adapted to the breath pattern you describe.
Here's how that might look:
Feel the energy in this region of the body, connect it in your feelings to the life-issues that go with this topic, feel any sense of resistance or tension. Inhale -- expanding with the intention to overcome or stretch past the tension. Hold this double feeling of the tension (holding you back) and your desire to expand/open in this area. Then let it all go on the exhale... let the tension and your intention melt away. Repeat.
Thanks, I've been...

I keep forgetting that every exhale is a release into infinity.

abundance - - supplemental
Posted January 1st, 2012 by Layman PascalAND let's open up those solar plexus chakras! Our conscious ability to think and act toward abundance is mediated by rates of bio-energetic conductivity moving in specific bodily regions associated with particular life-themes. Personal power is what Tony and my solar plexus have in common. It is the treasure center. It is the little Chieftain. It is the place where aggression gets exploded, paralyzed or harnessed smoothly into life actions. It is the commander of the Front. It is the psycho-energetic intelligence which is built to organize resources and assert a presence in the world.
And (even if, like me, you got hit there several times in childhood) you can either relax it open, affirm it open, or just repeatedly demand (with proprioceptive feeling of the inner resistance, obviously) that it OPEN, FLOURISH, STRENGTHEN, ADMIT ITS FULL POTENCY AND FLOW.
How do the higher heart and higher mind get down into the arms, legs, crotch and belly where the solid world grows?
Gotta pry open that hatch that lies half-way.
Happy New Year Stanley (and all not-Stanleys as well)
Thanks, I've been...
