Precious Teachings!

• Extend care and compassion to those at lower levels of development, love to those at our own level, and gratitude to those at a higher level.
• Avoid misusing our integral insights to inflate our egocentric grandiousity.
• Admit we do not have the truth but a truth.
• Growth = clarity to confusion to unknowing. Let us rest in the unknowing sometimes.
• Don't settle for mere intellectual understanding. Engage in daily Spiritual practices. If you are not suffering fine but few of us can pass this test.  
• We need both practice and fortunate circumstances for growth to occur. May we be blessed with fortunate circumstances.
• To not meet our needs possibly results in pathology. May our needs be met.
• Grow with an authentic guru. Stan adds one possible example to consider www.shantimandir.com.
• Fear and desire are the driving forces for our egos and our addictive thinking. Let us turn down their volumn sometimes.
• Roger seems to see practice as a dependable antidote to falling, falling into depression, alcoholism, drug addiction and the like. Stan questions this. All the more need for never ending compassion. May we minister to our fallen brothers and sisters.

The more Stan listens to Roger the more he loves and admires him. Stan especially loves his humility, a fruit rarely seen these days. This was a beautiful talk. Stan plans to keep coming back to it over and over on his continual journey towards Spiritual and integral maturity.
