A Successful 2012
In reference to; http://integrallife.com/member/robb-smith/blog/four-steps-creative-ecstasy?show=all
I wish some of us a successful 2012. It would be great if we were all at least successful enough to be able to afford a premium membership here so we could hear all of Ken's great talks and to be able to afford all of Ken's books. These would be a great first step in understanding what he has to teach us.
I thought that Robb Smith's latest post had some really good information about achieving success in a beautiful and sustainable way. I would like to present some highlights and comments.
let the thoughts go, because it’s time to get busy. - At the beginning of the day if we won't express our thoughts and theory out in our lives and in the world they won't add up to very much.
Expend energy, not effort. - If we can do this we can maintain a sustainable effort over time.
We simply do not have the wisdom or the prescience to know what a certain happy future looks like - It is helpful to have the humility to be able to admit this.
not fatigued by the slings and arrows of disappointed expectations - The above practice will help us to do this. This one is hughly important.
compelling vision in service to love
selfless and loving service - Robb spoke in terms of world and business leaders. I think we are ready to begin doing this as a unified integral community. This has been an ongoing theme of this author for some time now.
Does anyone know if Integrallife has a published vision and mission statement? If so could you share it with us please? If there is not yet an official statement I will assume that the above two quotes are pretty close. I really love the sound of service to love. When it gets to be safe to finally remove my no cyber-stalking signature line this might be my new one.

No cyber-stalking please. http://integrallife.com/member/stanley/blog/cyber-stalking - I have had to close with this statement because of so much cyber-stalking we have been having around here. It appears to me that until we become ready to begin from a starting line of integral ethics that it will not be likely that we can make a good first step. People who think we can bypass integral ethics are always welcome to not read my posts. There is no problem with that.
