Even spiritual teachers are not completely perfect because they are humans functioning on the relative level. And it was good to hear Ken acknowledge that gurus are necessary and at least some transmit a needed energetic transfer (grace). Our job is to surrender, be grateful, and serve even as we know the teacher is not perfect in the relative sense. Another problem is that we tend to buy the gurus who might be selling sweet sounding but bad medicine. This is their program for disaster:

  • Buy me and you will be happpy, healthy, and successful all the time.
  • Shit happens.
  • We blame ourself - ouch.
