What's Your Dream?
Stan developed a tremendous amount of admiration and respect for Jeff Saltzman as a result of watching these videos. He will reflect on some reasons he reacted this way.
- Jeff seems to have a great track record of making things happen. He helped develope a successful for profit company and more recently has help develop Boulder Integral which seems to be a cuttig edge shining light example of how the integral dream can be manifested.
- And yet Jeff seems to be humble. Stans sees way to little of this quality these days. Jeff admitted that part of the reason for the success of his company was luck. He also admitted that he thinks that Ken Wilber is more stably developed than he is. Jeff has apparently spent much time with Ken and seems to believe that Ken can transmit something very special to those around him. If this is the case, and Stan has no reason to not think this is not the case, it would seem like a very beautiful gesture for Ken to spend more time in the presence of the masses of humanity.
- Jeff has held the ring of top down power and he seems like he would prefer to not cling to this kind of power. This quality appears to be very rare and precious.
Anyway there is good useful information on making things happen at the different levels. Jeff invites us to let go of some of our green get little done attitudes and consider manifesting our dreams in this relative World. Stan thinks that it would be a valuable thing for us to come together as a community to support each other in expressing our dreams. Thanks for your great work Jeff. Let's ask ourself, "What is our dream?", "Who can help us achieve it?", and "Who can we help?"
May all beings manifest their helpful dreams.
P.S.
Some Practical Suggestions
- Try to do what lights you up.
- Divide a paper down the middle. On one side put what you love about what you are doing. On the other side put what you do not like.Try to arrange your life so you have more loves.
- Try to hold multiple perspectives. This might allow the best of all perspectives held to arise.
- Consider coming back on board with more liveliness, discipline, hard work, and determination.
- Consider being a loyal follower.
- Consider being part of a group of fellow dream supporters.
- Be flexible.
- Enjoy it when you can be in the flow like a music band hitting it on all 16 cyliners
- When you are not in flow keep working every day like a shoemaker at his table.
- Sometimes when it is absolutely necessary consider being a little thick skinned to keep from being hurt more than is necessary.
- Sometimes the World will not give in to our intentions and the best we can do is muddle through. Be willing to accept this without rejecting yourself and then keep on truckin. Stan says so.
