rocks and stuff

I've sometimes wondered what it would be like to go along with Ken on a geology field expedition to get his take on the exterior quadrants of 'rocks and stuff'. Namely what is it that goes all the way up and all the way down when it comes to 'inanimate' objects? I recently found this article by a JFKU professor that addresses a similar Subject. I thought you all might enjoy it here...

Jumping to conclusions!

Steven thanks for the great read! Years ago I walked through this very wooded park and in the middle there was this incredible rock where I would stop to sit and meditate for a while.....something always profound came to me after sitting on this rock; was it the rock? Well I realized i couldn't jump to any conclusions about that....but like Donna, in the article, I felt something that couldn't be proven....but it really didn't matter because I always left the woods, and that rock, feeling something shifted within me and I felt joyful. This reminds me of a quote by Helen Keller. "People do not like to think. If one thinks, one must reach conclusions. Conclusions are not always pleasant."

Much love,

Mary Linda
