Update request
We have three pretty sharp cookies declaring the nature of the path from Blue to Yellow: Graves/Beck, Wilber, Wade. Ken has resolved the problem that Jenny and Graves created, but I suspect this writing is some years old now. Has the solution, of all levels having both agentic and communal versions, been accepted? Contested? Refined? Are there any well crafted formulations since this offering by Ken? Has anyone voiced troublesome implications of Ken' solutions?
Personally I like Ken's version/solution. But I don't want to sit here for a couple years noodling out the implications if someone has exposed problems with it already.

Thank You, Tom!
Posted May 12th, 2010 by Jennifer GroveI'm glad you brought this to our attention. "Our", meaning everyone in the Forums, not just Integral Big Wigs. I hope you get a response from them too.
This helped me understand alot of stuff so much better. It took me all day to read it, but it helped me. I wish he would have said more about communal Orange, because I think that's what happened to me. I have often felt as if I skipped Orange because the SD descriptions don't resonate with me at all. I need to learn more about KW's cognitive level definitions.
The fact that I can use the word "level" without having any kind of adverse reaction means I've achieved some kind of Orange appreciation of Systems. He had to go to alot of trouble to tip-toe around the reactions he was anticipating there, and I don't ever have that. The fact that I often dislike using SD as a Type Indicator means I've achieved some kind of Green appreciation of Plurality. And the fact that sometimes I use it as a Type Indicator and sometimes as a description of expression - depending on what is useful - means I've achieved some kind of Yellow appreciation of Integration.
So, yeah. Bring on the updates and fill out the description of communal Orange. Plz.
Thx.
