Gut reaction to Ken Wilburs opinion on Global Governance
I watched the video in this blog and have some very strong feelings about what was discussed.
First off I would like to address the issue of sovereign nations. I am a person that buys into the idea that sovereignty acts as a sort of check and balance against global catastrophes like the global economic crisis we are currently experiencing. The fact that treaties like NAFTA passed by Bill Clinton have intertwined global economies (and encourages slave labour) across the globe means when one economy falls, those tied to it fall as well. Think of it as a sinking ship with no doors in the hull to contain the incoming water. Is it not possible to have global consciousness and compassion without a global government to control our lives? Is it not easier for corruption to take power of the globe if there is only one government to overthrow?
The other question that comes to my mind is Ken speaking of a "Disaster" that is required for nations to give up soveriegnty...this is the same propoganda that comes out of Henry Kissingers mouth when he speaks of the every emerging New World Order. This "Order out of Chaos" solution to bring in global gov't being pushed by tyrants is very disturbing to me. Look what the resulting order from the chaos of 911 gave us...The Patriot Act! Why doesn't Obama repeal the Patriot Act? He is for spying on Americans just like Bush. Al Gore stands to make huge profits from his company Gore & Blood from the CO2 cap and trade scheme. All these men of power stand to benefit from enacting control on citizens and none of them are worthy of our trust. Wasn't Al Gore and his wife Tipper behind the Censorship movement of the 90's? Yet he is now a Rock Star and we must sign on to his cap and trade scheme or the planet is doomed.
I also am amazed when I hear males need to be chipped to and have serototonin monitered to stop violence. Arent' wars started by the global elites to benefit their interests? Isn't the violence in America a product of the war on drugs being pushed by elected officials? Just sounds like more fear mongering!

Good Guts
Posted April 29th, 2009 by Brian OConnellYou speaka my language! Your guts are good. I think your smelling something that might not jive with the shadow of Integral. Look out. Don't show that Ken has no cloths. Ken has one twisted notion of geopolitics and economics. It goes pefectly with the twisted notions that the ACTUAL elite want intelligensia to have. Its a good way to get really smart people not to look at the most obvious element in out society that effect every aspect of it. THE MONOLITHIC MONETARY SYSTEM. Da da daa. Ya need some guts to take a look at how these systems actually work and I think Integral gets caught trying to keep one foot in two boats. Compromising with obvious corruption so you can have a dialog in the hopes you can change there minds. Da da daa. Playing nice at the expense of trully taking stock of the situation so you can actually lead. They hope that the leaders in the public sphere will hear the integral message but the ones really pulling the strings are not in the public sphere , Da da daa. So what should Integral be doing? Not giving people the notion that we live in a modern society. Sure in the UR and LR we do, but guess what , money has a moral demension and it is running at red right now making our projected idea of a modern society be just that, a projection. A true modern monetary system would be pluralistic, free market principles. Not fiat by decree. Do you see anything in Integral in economics and politics that comes close to how it is actually being done. There is a big gap and Integral is reeling with current events like it is ethnocentric. So much for haveing a world centric understanding. Its more like a promoter of subtle elitism for our own good( sure it is). Does Integral ever take the possible perception that countries in the middle east are that way because the elite made there societies stay at that level. Does Integral understand that the CIA and othe black ops have put dictators in power and kept them at that level of development. Da da daa. That terrorism does not come from fundamentalism but from one group messing with the sovrienty of another, like putting dictators in your country. If Integral understood what has been done under empire, out of public view, it would not have this global governance drive under the pressure of fear. We come together globally under peace not fear. So current global governance is not what Integral even wants to work with. The move to global governance needs to be stopped for now. I can not see us coming together globally and appropriatly for another twenty years.
the video zeigeist addendum is a good start, in showing the shadow of global governance.
