short note
just a short (probably obvious) note on what the gentleman priest was saying vis a vis his preference that somewhat "splinter" or exploratory groups do not go completely Outside the tradition but instead somehow keep growing and giving in relation to the church (out a little but in) ... obviously, it seems, in order for that to happen need integral leaders (like him) in the church who can see whole developmental playing field... (see the whole conveyor belt stations of life catechism idea (see chapter in Integral Spirituality by Ken Wilber) and therefore promote and "ok" and encourage this to more integrally minded leaders at all "levels" in church) Otherwise obviously there is always the problem with "first-tier" levels and stations tending to hate/despise one another and therefore probably really maybe wanting to totally splinter off "main" church (or just go it alone or whatever) (ie if main church is mostly "amber" for example)
Interesting too to wonder how much state training and true spirituality and christian outlook and values might mitigate somewhat this amber/orange/green culture culture war tendency (ie they could still have common "horizontal" 2nd person of god at least spiritual orientation which obviously has been pretty lacking in greater western world culture from "full" orange on)... Again though obviously would require leadership and education/familiarity with horizontal ("spiritual" as it refers to "states" sense ) movement/transformation etc etc but even without That (rigorous state training instructions/practice in contemplative prayer for example ) there is this whole (if one is serious) relational orientation to 2nd person of god and "christian values" (very generally speaking obviously) etc that too it seems could mitigate somewhat "levels" wars... Basically even without the contemplative dimension a truly "orange" religiousity/spirituality of some kind would tend to be more quadrant balanced (including more I and we interiors) than greater and more generally "dissociated" (what K.wilber calls "the disaster" of modernity) culture.... i guess (and again obviously to anyone fairly familiar with KW here) this more modest and general (not necessarily involving more "rigorous" states training or personal contemplative practice though of course ideally that should Always be advocated for) movement would involve unfreezing spiritual line from amber and allowing it stage wise to grow into orange/green etc etc etc (again, it seems, integral leadership within the church would/ could help steer these "ships") Even with these more modest gains (of merely unfreezing spiritual line and allowing all in oneself to grow into orange green etc stages) it seems we would be doing Much to somewhat counter-balance this "dissociation" in culture (of I, and we) towards a much more healthy and balanced (ie horizontal health of more balanced quadrants) rational (and into pluralistic) cultural center of gravity...

Thank you
Posted April 25th, 2010 by Jennifer GroveI'm in agreement with pretty much all of that. I think. Inasmuch as I could concentrate. I'm down a quart of brain oil at the moment.
I just realized tonight that I am almost ready to begin helping Amber/Blue Church express at it's most healthy. I can't believe I'm actually saying that. I feel dirty saying it. LOL But I now see the road to healthy Amber.
There are so many people leaving the Church because of Amber, that it's leaving no one but the unhealthy left inside. Ew! Someone has to go in there. But I can't do it alone. I need support.
Thank you for seeing this with me.
