Few topics In today’s public discourse about current affairs are more fraught with emotionalism, misinformation, and confirmation bias than the Israel-Palestine conflict, especially since the events of October 7, 2023.  Mainstream media coverage of the war, which is now well into its second year, is no more objective than it was a year ago.  Coverage is heavily skewed in favor of Israeli talking points, and efforts to explain the Palestinian perspective are met with repression.  The Palestinians have a story to tell, one which must be heard if the October 7 attack on Israel is to be correctly understood.  It is my intention in this discussion to provide at least the broad outlines of that story, which begins at least 150 years ago.  I will also try to show how an integral perspective can give us additional clarity and depth of understanding of this important topic.

At Integral Life, we encourage the exploration of multiple perspectives. The views shared in this session are those of the presenter alone and do not represent an official stance of Integral Life or its partners.
