Integral Life Members Get Access to Free Coaching on Any Topic

Robb Smith News 3 Comments

Dear friends,

As part of the special relationship between Integral Ventures and Integral Life, we could think of no better way to embody the mission of both organizations than beginning to support IL members with their own projects, topics or life challenges.

To do so I’ve decided to support Integral Life members on any topic they choose through a single one-hour advisory session (I’ll hold one per week). For years I’ve coached and advised friends, entrepreneurs, executives, investors and others on a wide range of life issues, projects, topics and theoretical problems they’re confronting. I do it pro-bono because I really enjoy it, and because it helps me pay forward the incredible blessings I’ve had in my own life in whatever small way I can.

If you’d like to chat, you can grab a time slot on my public calendar here. Again, this is completely free.

Warm regards,

Robb Smith

    Dear Robb:
not sure how to get time with you as a coach. I’d love to get your view on my writing the book on ego development that I have been wanting to write for so long. As an independent scholar there is just always the need to support oneself. Family matters also interfere unexpectedly. Never managed to get a grant since I have been working outside academia. Are there any other sources of financial support to free me from feeling the pressure to work?
    Love to get your buck-u-uppo!

      Hi Susan,

I greatly admire the work you have done and continue to do so. I’m presently reading (off and on) your dissertation “Postautonomous Ego Development: A Study of Its Nature and Measurement” and find it immensely thought provoking and a challenge to understand, at times.

When I was watching -with undivided attention- your video on the stages of leadership maturity, it meant a lot to me. More so because Cory Devoss gave you my question (at the 53.22 mark) about the 4/5 self questioning stage on the arc of ego development. I was please to hear you say that existential depression is inevitable in the process of healthy ego development because that’s where I am right now and it’s an often lonely place to be. In my questioning stage, I find myself reading voraciously on all aspects of humanistic psychology much to the chagrin of my friends and family. That said, and if you need funds to support your research, I would think that a gofundme would be an alternative. If you went that way, I’ll be the first to donate $100. Thanks so much for all the work that you do and hopefully the years to come. With great affection, George

Robb, massively appreciate this offering to the community. Talk about walking the talk as a leader in the integral space! I hadn’t tracked emails or IL notifications until recently and may have missed the boat.

Are you able to confirm weather the window has closed or if there are any spots left?
