Making Things Happen: The Integral Incubator

In this interview, personal productivity expert and integral teacher Jeff Salzman shows that this developmental leap requires that we loosen the bonds of the green altitude, the post-modern worldspace that is marked by a confused relativism as well as an ambivalence about the use of power and the pursuit of personal success. Integral functioning allows us to unabashedly reclaim the best of the previous stages of development that are still alive in us, and to bring their power back online:
A successful integration of these evolutionary worldviews creates a powerful emergent consciousness—integral consciousness—as well as new capabilities that bring online the best of each previous worldspace, while leaving behind what is limited and gripped about them. As co-founder of Boulder Integral, Jeff also talks about an exciting new program his organization is producing called the Integral lncubator, debuting this November. Developed with integral theorist, Ken Wilber, the Incubator is a five-day intensive designed to help integrally-informed professionals stabilize higher levels of personal power and professional impact, using their own work as the object of practice. By creating intensified environments of discipline, creativity and teamwork, the Incubator is designed to help people get real traction on the great idea or project that they are called to bring into the world, whether it be a creative endeavor like a book or movie, a service or educational project, or a new business or professional practice.
