I am talking today with Terry Patten, one of our noted presenters at the upcoming What NOW conference. Terry is a renown spiritual teacher, co-author of the Integral Life Practice book with Ken, and a major contributor at the What Next conference five years ago. Terry is in the process of finishing his new book, The Republic of the Heart, due to be published in February of 2018, which is so relevant to the themes we will be personally exploring at the What NOW conference.
Terry touches on what he calls the “acceleration of crazy” as our current reality show unfolds. He also has some interesting insights on how he is navigating the chaos, while noting that major stage transitions like the one we are currently living in are, by their very nature, revolutionary, calling us to a higher, deeper, and more enriching human commons.
Join us as Terry describes how he is holding the question, “What NOW?”

Very relevant, thank you. Regarding aligning with Democratic party or Republican party, from my perspective, it is important not to bring all the baggage and emotional reactions that both of these parties have but to create a new party that can be defined on its own terms. It is a bridge between something new, yet working within the system.
While it may be a challenge, the actions taking by the left through Bernie Sanders and the right through Donald Trump, are a clear indication for a request for something that is neither Democratic or Republican, but yet is relevant and is resonant with the people. The opportunity is having an integral understanding with the ability to engage people at different levels of development and being able to embrace all levels.
See you at the end of the year.
