elcome back to Integral Justice Warrior! Watch as Corey and new co-host Mark Fischler kick off a new season of IJW, exploring how the spirit of integral justice moves through us, and how it has moved through some of the most significant justice warriors throughout history.
We also devote some time to exploring our own political compasses, our own biases, and our own efforts to create a space for more integral conversations that is capable of uniting multiple, often incongruous perspectives. How do we reconcile our views with other views that seem to run counter to our own? How do we account for our own political biases and blind spots? How do we dig beneath problematic political views in order to find the deeper values that are animating those views? How do we adapt our abstract political maps to the living territory of political reality, however we find it?
We then move into some audience Q&A’s, where we answer questions about how resilient our justice institutions are in the face of increasing extremism from both sides of the partisan divide, as well as how best to expand and embody our most integral influences and intentions.
Topics include:
0:00 — Introducing Mark
13:39 — What do we mean by “Integral Justice Warrior”?
22:33 — Exemplars of Integral Justice
47:23 — How to have more integral conversations about politics
