Dark Matter: A Soundtrack for Psychonauts

Corey deVos Aesthetic, Art & Creativity, Art That Transforms, Audio, Entertainment, Free, Perspectives 1 Comment

Playing with the tension between soothing and menacing, soft and jagged, glossy and glitchy, this is a soundtrack for psychonauts, an adventure through shifting tones, textures, and soundscapes. Do not listen if you suffer from irrational fears of the future. Experiences of bliss, involuntary dancing, and spontaneous dropping of the bodymind are normal. If any of these symptoms persist, continue use and consult your metaphysician immediately.

DOSE: One listen (approx. 53 minutes)

DIRECTIONS: Apply one (1) dose to your earholes whenever you would like to enhance your experience of:

Driving
Exercising
Working
Copulating
Introspecting*

*Headphones highly recommended.

WARNING: Do not listen if you suffer from irrational fears of the future. Experiences of bliss, involuntary dancing, and spontaneous dropping of the bodymind are normal. If any of these symptoms persist, continue use and consult your metaphysician immediately.

Sutras: A Musical Meditation

Corey deVos

Sutras is an hour-long musical meditation that includes spoken word pieces by Alex Grey, Ken Wilber, Lama Surya Das, Sally Kempton, and Alan Watts. A synaesthetic journey through gross, subtle, causal, and nondual realms. Sonic tonic for your aching body, mind, and soul. Liberation upon hearing.

The Kosmic Slop

Corey deVos

The Kosmic Slop: a high-energy, hour-long odyssey through space, time, rhythm, and rhyme. An eclectic mix of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.

(r)evolutions: Protest Music for a New Day

Corey deVos

An inspirational 2-hour mix of 21st-century protest music. Because a revolution without dancing is not a revolution worth having.

  1. This past Saturday I started listening to “Prophecy” from 1984 Dune soundtrack and stayed in it for like 3 hours.
It dropped me into a meditative state immediately and it was a very interesting “InterGalactic” kind of meditation I didn’t even want to leave. Though results may differ for others I suppose.
