Lukas Hosford

Lukas was born and raised in the countryside outside of Ann Arbor where he later studied poetry, literature, and the liberal arts at the university. From the ages of 14 to 19, he was rather serious about a particular format of competitive debate, which had him studying politics, economics, and philosophy. He has continued those studies since in various forms both in and outside of formatted scholastic frameworks. He has also continued to coach debate in various forms ever since. In the last five years, Lukas has found that a spiritual practice has helped to weave all these prior threads together. Now he is working to build a sensory-regeneration spa into a permaculture system on the side of a mountain in a tropical rainforest of Costa Rica.
