An Integral Look at Holosync

Over the years, we at Integral Life have received dozens of questions about what to make of Holosync from an integral perspective. There hasn’t been anything on the web thoroughly investigating Holosync through an explicitly integral lens... until now. If you’ve ever pondered these questions, this presentation hopes to shed a little light.

So get ready to explore a new perspective on Holosync.  You may be surprised to discover that it is a powerful complement for your own Integral Life Practice.

TM, Big Mind, and the Heart of Suffering

Bill Harris is the President and Director of Centerpointe Research Institute and the creator of Holosync audio technology. For the past thirty-five years, Bill has been intimately involved in the field of personal growth, with a specific interest in the effects of neurotechnologies on human change, evolution, and growth. Since 1989, over 150,000 people have used Holosync’s binaural sound engineering.  In this video, Bill offers us an intimate glimpse into his personal spiritual path.  He traces the arc of his own awakening from his early roots in the Presbyterian church to an early encounter with TM (Transcendental Meditation) when he was 19, all the way to his current work with Genpo Roshi's Big Mind process.

Brainwaves and God. Part 1: The Origin of Binaural Beats

Bill Harris, creator of Holosync, recounts the beginnings of this brainwave technology, its role in contemporary spiritual growth, the ways in which brain-mind machines can help accelerate conscious transformation, and why an understanding of stages of development is crucial for skillful means. In this piece, Ken outlines the integral overview of how brain-wave technologies might affect stages of growth: brain-mind machines induce changes in brain states (Upper Right), which are correlated with changes in states of mind or consciousness (Upper Left). Repeated changes in states of consciousness accelerate growth through the stages of consciousness. Bill says that this model does indeed seem to fit with what he has seen in his experience with Holosync technology....
