David Champion

Dr. Champion is a founding member of the Slippery Rock University Criminology Department. His research interests include Integral Criminology and his teaching specializations are in policing, criminal justice ethics, and criminal behavior. He is Past President of both the Pennsylvania and Northeastern Regional affiliates of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences. Dr. Champion’s professional experience includes juvenile justice treatment and military law enforcement as an Army Military Police officer and criminal investigator.
