Mary Saunders explores the primordial qualities of earth, wood, fire, metal, and water as elemental energies in nature, within our bodies, and within our psyche — a model for physical health, emotional intelligence, and spiritual maturity.
Mary Saunders
Mary has been an acupuncturist in clinical practice for 30 years and is skilled in the integration of Eastern medicine with nutrition, psychology, and spiritual practice. She uses her training in meditation, Co-Active coaching, and the Hakomi method of somatic therapy in her teaching and work with clients. The Hakomi tradition is rooted in the understanding that the body is the gateway to unconscious core beliefs that organize our experience on all levels, including our capacity for change and healing.
Mary is a Nationally Certified Acupuncturist with a Diplomate in Acupuncture (NCCAOM) and a Licensed Acupuncturist (LAc). She is the author of the book Rhythms of Change: Reclaiming Your Health Using Ancient Wisdom And Your Own Common Sense (2014).
