This event starts in:
What if we can find freedom from health conditions, chronic aches and pains, lose excess weight and let go of unwanted food habits by reconnecting with our true nature?
What if there is a way to evolve back to our original, authentic relationship with food through the very difficulties that our current food habits are presenting us today?
What if, through our own wisdom, we can navigate the changing needs our bodies have without relying on diets, rules and tests to figure out what to eat?
Food nourishes and sustains us. As each species evolved, it found the food it needed to ensure its survival. That’s true for the human species too. Instinct and a close connection with the natural world played an important role in knowing what to eat and how to survive through the seasons. We had a simple, clean relationship with our food for nourishment, and we thrived.
So many of us now have developed a relationship with food that feeds more than our nutritional needs. We use food for celebration, reward, social connection, mood relief and more. And this type of relationship often results in chronic health conditions, excess weight and eating disorders. These very conditions are signals our bodies are sending to get our attention to slow down and listen to our inner wisdom.
The good news is that nature is designed to return to balance. And that’s our nature too.
Join Connie and Bill DeKramer for a foray into the world of High Nutrient Dense Whole Foods. Together we will explore how to look for what food nourishes us into a pain free, symptom free life with clarity and vitality and how to tap into the innate wisdom of our bodies to find what works for us in each moment as we navigate changing age, seasons, physical demands, etc.
Connie has an extensive background in business having opened and managed a chain of weight loss salons in the US and Australia in the 70’s and 80’s. After retiring from that career, she received her Master’s degree in Vedic Studies with a focus on Ayurveda, East Indian healing foods, from MIU.
She loves working with women, helping them to see their innate self-worth in combination with coaching around restoring health and losing weight naturally with WFPB. In her spare time she plays classical piano, takes long walks, and loves jigsaw puzzles and a good murder mystery series.
Bill has a varied background from being a TM teacher in the 70’s, a business owner in the 80’s and then, after connecting with Connie, helping people restore their health with a high nutrient dense WFPB diet. He studied as a pre-med student at Stanford University and is a certified Organic Master Gardener.
His passion is helping people awaken to their true nature, often through the vehicle of their relationship with food. When he isn’t coaching and teaching about food and health, he is making furniture and staying fit.
